About the Brain Science Unit
Promote translational and reverse-translational research by supporting the formation of pre-flexible research groups, mainly consisting of young medical, dental, and pharmaceutical researchers, on advanced research themes in the fields of psychiatric disorders, brain regeneration, and neurological disorders.
- Promote the establishment of research collaboration systems with different fields such as computer science, artificial intelligence, and robotic.
- Promote collaboration with RIKEN, Kyoto University's iPS Research Institute, the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, and other Brain Science Centers around the world. Developing into an international research base formation project and promoting joint research with private companies.
