Message In a regional multidisciplinary collaboration, awareness of each professional as a service provider, a seamless collaboration without vertical and horizontal relationships, where everyone can take on the role of leadership by demonstrating their expertise, is key for a reassuring and timely delivery of quality healthcare and welfare services to the people living in the regional areas. I hope to be able to contribute to building a foundation that allows an interactive training program, for future physicians to provide regional comprehensive care who are greatly supported by “collaboration” from the entire region, and strengthens the entire regional network through education. In the world of business, “weakness” can also be looked as “strength”. I believe that the realization on a daily basis of the fact that different specialties are an advantage and taking pleasure in providing a regional comprehensive care through multidisciplinary collaboration may soon become apparent.
