Purpose

The purposes of this project are to establish molecular basis of skeletal development and maintenance and to reveal the responsible genes and pathogenesis of skeletal diseases by the cooperation of three research groups, including skeletal development, genome research, and clinical research, and by integrating the findings of the three groups. The final goal of this project is to apply the outcomes to therapeutics of skeletal diseases.
